Senior economic officials from the US and China concluded the first day of their two-day talks in Paris, France, yesterday (15th), Reuters reported. The discussions aim to resolve disputes over the trade truce agreement and pave the way for US President Donald Trump's visit to Beijing at the end of this month for a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. A US Treasury spokesperson revealed that the talks at the OECD headquarters in Paris lasted over six hours and will continue this morning (16th).
