The 14th Guangdong Provincial People's Congress Fifth Session opened this morning (26th) in Guangzhou. Guangdong Governor Meng Fanli presented the government work report to the congress, indicating that the main expected targets for Guangdong in 2026 include: a regional Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth of 4.5-5%, an increase of about 3% in local general public budget revenue, and resident income growth in line with economic growth.
