Zhejiang Introduces 23 Spring Festival Consumption Measures, Plans to Issue Subsidies/ Vouchers Totaling ~RMB3B

Zhejiang Province, China announced the launch of 23 consumption measures for Spring Festival, combining livelihood benefits with consumption promotion to fully initiate the 2026 Spring Festival Consumption Season. These measures focus on six major areas: dining, accommodation, transportation, travel, shopping, and entertainment, with over 1,700 related events to be held across the province.

By the end of February this year, Zhejiang will distribute subsidies exceeding RMB2 billion to support a new round of trade-in for consumer goods; simultaneously, consumption vouchers worth RMB960 million will be issued. Separately, the government, financial institutions, and platform merchants will collectively offer more than RMB5 billion in subsidies and discount vouchers in the first quarter.
