JD-SW (09618.HK) (JD.US) announced that it has recently completed the acquisition of Hong Kong Kai Bo Food Supermarket, and officially established the 'Innovative Retail - Kai Bo Business Division'. JD-SW also appointed founder of Kai Bo, Lam Hiu-ngai, as the head of the business division. Following the completion of the acquisition, JD-SW's Kai Bo Supermarket planned to launch a 3-day event with 20% discount for all products starting tomorrow (16th) in Hong Kong to thank Hong Kong residents. The promotion will cover dozens of products in JD-SW's supply chain in the first batch, and more products in JD-SW's supply chain will continue to be introduced to Hong Kong in the future. JD-SW said that it will leverage the Group's own supply chain advantages to promote Kai Bo's expansion of its omnichannel business, further enriching the supply of high-quality goods in Hong Kong's retail consumption market, so as to promote the Group's fresh food supply chain layout in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and accelerate the expansion of the local retail market in Hong Kong.
