China's total retail sales of social consumer goods in July amounted to RMB3.88 trillion, growing by 3.7% YoY, below the market forecast of a 4.6% hike, the National Bureau of Statistics announced. Excluding automobiles, the total retail sales of social consumer goods reached RMB3.49 trillion, up by 4.3%. For the first seven months of this year, the figure was RMB28.42 trillion, up by 4.8%.
