HSBC HOLDINGS Reportedly Plans to Significantly Enhance Global Office Surveillance

Reuters quoted internal documents from HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK) as saying that the Group plans to enhance surveillance of its employees and offices by increasing the number of surveillance cameras and biometric access globally.

As part of its global security strategy, HSBC HOLDINGS plans to increase the number of surveillance cameras in its new building in the City of London by 4x, although the new building's area is about half that of its existing office at Canary Wharf.
