XIAOMI-W (01810.HK)'s Xiaomi Auto recently modified promotional language on its car purchase webpage quietly, replacing "smart driving" with "assisted driving" in light of tightened industry regulations, Chinese media reported.

In mid-April, the First Division of Equipment Industry under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) convened a meeting to advance the management of intelligent connected vehicle product access and software online updates.
