JD-SW to Invest RMB22B in Building 150K New 'Courier Homes' Over Next 5 Yrs

JD-SW (09618.HK) released its 2026 New Year's greetings announcing a total investment of over RMB1.3 billion during the nine-day Spring Festival holiday. This investment will be used to provide benefits that exceed national legal standards for procurement, express delivery, customer service, doctors, clerk, domestic service and newly joined full-time couriers through ways such as overtime pay, big red packet and child reunion subsidies. Over the past year, a total of 150,000 full-time food delivery riders have joined JD-SW. The Company disclosed plans to invest RMB22 billion over the next five years to build 150,000 new 'Courier Homes'. During the period, JD-SW will also procure 3 million robots, 1 million unmanned vehicles, and 100,000 drones to fully commit to the logistics full-supply chain scenario.
