The State Administration for Market Regulation announced that a series of important national standards, including those for commercial electric vehicle (EV) battery swap safety, sensitive personal information processing, sockets with USB power, and car rental services, will be implemented starting tomorrow (November 1).

Specifically, the recommended national standards for the safety of N1, N2, and N3 category battery-swapping commercial EVs will be applicable to other types of battery-swapping vehicles. The implementation of this standard will promote the application of battery-swapping models in the commercial vehicle sector, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electric EVs.
