Pop Mart's CRYBABY 'Vacation Mode On' Series Sold Out Instantly; Hidden Edition's Secondary Mkt Premium Below Previous Series

POP MART (09992.HK) recently released a new "Vacation Mode On" series under its popular IP CRYBABY, marking the comeback of CRYBABY's vinyl blind box series after a five-month hiatus, Chinese media reported. The series sold out instantly upon release. The CRYBABY Vacation Mode On series purportedly comprises of six regular editions and one hidden edition, with each blind box priced at RMB129, and the whole box priced at RMB774. Data from the Dewu App showed that the hidden edition "Mermaid's Tears" saw its transaction price rise from RMB129 to RMB999, representing a premium of only 6.7 times, which is lower than the CRYBABY "Leopard Cat" series released in May.
