The UK's Chancellor Rachel Reeves will embark on a 2-day visit to China in January 2025, and is scheduled to meet Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng in Beijing on 11 January to restart the annual UK-China Economic and Financial Dialogue (EFD), Reuters quoted sources as saying. If progress is made in those discussions, the two countries may consider restarting the previously regular UK-China Joint Economic and Trade Commission (JETCO) meetings later next year.
