CN Billionaires' Wealth Skyrockets by USD130B in a Week

The stock market skyrocketed after China launched large-scale economic stimulus measures. In the week ending September 30, the wealth of the top 54 Chinese on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index escalated by about 19%, or nearly USD130 billion, which was the biggest weekly gain for Chinese billionaires since 2016, when the index began tracking the world's 500 wealthiest people. Pony Ma, co-founder of TENCENT (00700.HK), was one of the biggest winners of this stock market rebound. His wealth shot up nearly 50% to USD51 billion this year.
