Hong Kong bourse continued to open higher on the back of the financial measures promulgated by China. The HSI opened 155 pts or 0.7% higher at 21,289; the HSCEI opened 69 pts or 0.9% higher at 7,578; and the HSTECH opened 88 pts or 1.9% higher at 4,840.

Oils CNOOC (00883.HK) and PETROCHINA (00857.HK) spiked 4% and 3.6%. SINOPEC CORP (00386.HK) shot up 2.7%. Exporters such as TECHTRONIC IND (00669.HK) and SHENZHOU INTL (02313.HK) slid 4.7% and 6.4%. Nike (NKE.US) withdrew its full-year sales target.

In terms of techs, BABA-W (09988.HK) added 0.4% at $110.4. TENCENT (00700.HK) gained 1.2% at $450. MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) mounted 3.5% at $178. XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) opened flat at $22.5. JD-SW (09618.HK) and BIDU-SW (09888.HK) lifted 0.7% and 0.9%. NTES-S (09999.HK) and KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) hiked 1.3% and 2.1%. BILIBILI-W (09626.HK) soared 8.4%.

Among automakers, LI AUTO-W (02015.HK) delivered 53,709 new vehicles in September, a YoY increase of 49%, and its stock price opened 11.4% higher. NIO-SW (09866.HK) and XPENG-W (09868.HK) shed 1.5% and 3.4%. BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) leaped 2.2% at $290.
